Notice of Business Continuity Plan
Lucid Advisors, Inc.® recognizes the importance of preparing for unexpected disruptions to our business. Considering the "unexpected" could range from a simple situation to a major outage, we developed a comprehensive contingency and disaster recovery plan to deal with events such as fires, power outages, unplanned evacuations, severe weather, loss of water, destructive acts and other events that could disrupt our business.
We designed our plan to achieve the following goals: to prevent events and impacts that are within our control; to ensure continued operation of all aspects of our business and services in any circumstances, to the extent possible; and to speed the resumption of any disrupted business activities and the recovery of any lost data as quickly as reasonably possible with minimal interruption, depending on the nature and extent of the business disruption.
Based on a review of our financial and operational risks, our business continuity plan specifically addresses:
- Employee safety strategies and communications,
- Backup and recovery of data and all mission critical systems,
- Protecting the firm's books and records,
- Financial and operational assessments,
- Alternative communications with customers, custodian and regulators,
- Critical supplier, contractor, bank and counter-party impact,
- Regulatory reporting,
- Assuring our clients prompt access to their funds and securities if we are unable to continue our business.
If after a significant disruption, you have trouble contacting us at our main business number (206-267-2222) or via email and you have checked our website, www.lucidadvisors.com, you should call our custodian, Fidelity Investments, to obtain account information and prompt access to your funds. Fidelity Investments can be reached at 800-544-6666 or www.fidelity.com. According to Fidelity's own Notice of Business Continuity, Fidelity has provided the following number for emergency assistance, 800-343-3548. If you wish to read Fidelity's Notice of Business Continuity, it is located on their website (www.fidelity.com) at the bottom of the page.

Our plan is subject to change. If you have questions about our business continuity planning, you can contact us at 206-267-2222 or through our website at www.lucidadvisors.com.
